Welcome to our website !

Today I'm going to share with you guys my favourite drugstore foundations as I have been playing around with a few different ones lately that I used to absolutely love but forgot how good they were after switching to high end foundations..

Lumi Magique - L'Oréal Paris
Anyway recently I have tried out the Lumi Magique foundation from L'Oreal and I just had to share how good it actually is.
'The L'Oréal Paris Lumi Magique Foundation is a luminous liquid foundation that melts into the skin. The inclusion of Andersen Liquid ensures the skin's surface is left smooth and reflects light. Especially created to enhance the skins natural light and erase imperfections while covering them, the foundation also promises the complexion appears naturally flawless and glowing with radiance. The foundation provides 24-hours moisture-replenishment, 14-hour light reflection, added radiance, reduced shine and 12-hours of hold and light reflection.'
Firstly I have to say that I do love the formula I think it is relatively easy to blend and would be best applied with a beauty blender/sponge in my opinion. Me having dry skin I love a dewy medium to full coverage foundation and this ticks all of the boxes!!
I would definitely recommended this product especially when on sale it comes down to around $17 dollars. It lasts all day, it feels weightless and gives great coverage with only a small amount applied it may not work as great for people that have dry skin though!! But from me it gets a 9/10.

Longwear 24 Hour Foundation - Designer Brands
Next I have been obsessed with the Designer Brands Longwear 24 Hour Foundation. This foundation is definitely full coverage no doubt and it is so cheap the only down side is the shade range luckily I found one that matched mine quite well. 'Unlike many long-lasting formulas, Designer Brands Longwear 24 Hour Foundation effortlessly glides onto skin and evens the skins texture for a flawless complexion. Boasting a full, smudge-proof coverage, it also doesn't cake, flake or feel heavy.' I agree with the statement from the company that it doesn't flake or feel heavy or even cake! It is best applied with a make up brush and also using a primer on the skin before hand. It does last a relatively good amount of time I probably wouldn't say it lasts 24 hours but on the other hand it really is a great foundation for the price. Easy to blend, super affordable, doesn't cake and is full coverage 100% thumbs up from me get to your local chemist and check out this product you will not regret it!!!

Fit Me Dewy & Smooth - Maybelline
Another product I always need in my make up collection being the Maybelline Fit Me Dewy & Smooth. 'Dewy foundation with SPF 18 that hydrates and smooths skin texture, leaving a naturally luminous finish.' Honestly it had me at dewy.. But really this is also another amazing foundation especially for everyday wear, I do wish it was a pump bottle though I feel like I waste so much product by tipping it out. I use a beauty blender to apply and I love this finish it gives. I would say it is medium build able coverage but does give that flawless look everyone is after. Doesn't cake, dry out, affordable and easy to blend. If you haven't tried it you probably should a lot of people say it is a dupe for the Nars Sheer Glow another one of my all time faves!!

Revlon Colorstay Whipped
Lastly I recommend the Revlon Colorstay Whipped foundation now this is a full coverage foundation and when I say full coverage I mean it!! 'The mouse-like texture feels like silk on your skin and the time release formula balances skin for a flawless look. All-day, flexible wear, without flaking, caking or feeling heavy.' This product I tried out ages ago probably over a year ago now and haven't really used it since but I have a new love for it recently after using it for the first time in ages and that's why I had to share it in this post. There isn't a great deal of colours and is a little pricey but it does blend out nice onto the skin and doesn't feel oily at all. I also love the fact it doesn't cake considering it is a mouse-like formula.
Pros!
  • Blends Well
  • Easy To Apply
  • Goes On Smoothly
  • Good Pigmentation
  • Lightweight
  • Long-Lasting

There are some of my fave drugstore full coverage foundations! I hope you enjoyed reading, let me know if you love any of these foundations as much as I do or have any recommendations that I should try out and review :)

CLOTHING HAUL

hey guys! Welcome back to my blog I'm sorry I have been MIA for a while and inactive on this site but I have a lot of ideas that I want to share and write about!
The first thing I have been absolutely loving lately is thrift shopping although we don't call them thrift stores here in Australia they are known  as op shops. Anyway! Over the last week I have gathered a few items that are amazing and it's so interesting to look around and find unique clothing items for such cheap prices. We all love shopping and getting new items but I wanted to step outside the box and somewhat switch up my style I also am starting to use the clothing peices for diy projects like cutting sloppy joes into cropped off the shoulder tops and jeans into shorts I found a pair of Bardot jeans new with tags that were $150 for $20!! Crazy right you never know what your going to find a while ago i found a book I'm absolutely in love with that completely picked me up when I was feeling so down its like I was meant to find it at that present time for only a dollar which retailed to $10. I know people have there opinions on op shops but honestly I feel like at this point in my life I'm not worrying about what other people think and if it makes me happy and brings joy to me while I'm out looking for different things then that's all that matters! I will insert the photos of the peices I found, while also inserting photos of some really cheap articles of clothing I found in valley girl on sale! I'll list the prices so you can see how much I saved :) also I am uploading a YouTube video explaining the items I found aswell in more depth and detail. Thanks for reading I need to get back into a routine of posting and I'll be sure to do that! As I have moved to a new house recently and starting to get back on top of things .. I know I've moved again haha, but I'm so happy where I am at the moment and can't wait to show you some of my home decor things and be able to film more YouTube videos!!

Here are two of the items I found at the salvation army, I absolutely loved this yellow jumper that I found and whats awesome is that it is cropped! I also want to cut around the neck line to make it a more off the shoulder type jumper.
The secound item I found was a Jeans West singlet with a lovely pattern on the front and a stretchy back which is great and super comfortable. Both these peices were $2 each!

These next items are from valley girl and tempt i picked these up because they were all under $10! Also I will be doing another thrift haul with a lot more clothing items to show you guys :)

Valley girl jumpsuit $39.95 down to $9.95 it's so nice and flowy also I love how it is off the shoulder the only down fall is it is a little see through.

Tempt T shirt dress $14.95 down to $9.95 I'm still a little undecided on whether I like this or not it sticks out at the bottom a tiny bit  but still super comfortable over all and looks cute with a pair of boots!

Another one (insert Dj Khaled quote) tempt t shirt dress $9.95 down to $4.95 as I'm quite short it is a little long for me but this is just for wearing around the house :)

These two tops I absoltely love!!! Especially the top one and whats even better is that they were both $6.95!

Lastly I picked up these two pairs of shorts the black ones were originally $49.95 and were down to $10 I couldn't pass them up they are super comfy and stretchy and the bottom tan coloured pair are high waisted and look really nice on! They were also $6.95 down from $24.95 and I love them I struggle to find the right high waisted shorts but these are perfect!!

Today I decided it was finally time to get some wall decor for our house, I have been wanting to do a canvas polaroid peg display for a while so went out and picked up a few craft items to make it with. I also wanted to make something I saw on tumblr which was a diamond made out of mini triangles which you can cut out from a magazine or colourful paper it was super easy and fun to make! My last canvas i decided to do was triangle painted using scotch tape quick and simple to do perfect lines.

Here is a tutorial on how I created these simple affordable wall displays.

Things you will need!
Pva/craft glue
 Acrylic Paint
Scotch tape
Colourful Paper Or Magazine
3 x Blank Canvas
Mini Pegs
Washee Tape
Paint brushes
Scissors

1. Peg Polaroid Canvas

Items you will need:
String/twine
Mini pegs
Blank canvas

Also another creative idea would be to paint the canvas how ever you like to bring a pop of colour! Instead I decided to just do a blank canvas with blue twine.

Using the twine cut three pieces about a foot long, wrap around the canvas and attach to the back using pva glue or a hot glue gun. I used tape to secure mine better at the back. You can place your lines of twine however you like whether it be up down up or straight across however you like!
If you dont want to use the twine and pegs I picked up these sparkly washee tapes which you can use to stick down your polaroid photos creating different patterns. Once your twine is attached attach the pegs along and secure your photos. That's simply all it is!

2. Scotch Tape Painted Canvas

Items you will need:
Acrylic paint which ever colours you would like I used pink, blue and black creating the white lines with the tape.
Paint brushes
Scotch Tape
Blank Canvas

Starting with your blank canvas start by placing tape along one corner to the other then continue to add tape where ever you like to create smaller triangles all over. They do not have to be even the more uneven the better!

Using the different coloured paints start by painting the different sectioned off triangles, don't worry if it looks completely messy because once that tape comes off the excess paint will also come off and straighten up the edges.

Once the canvas is painted, wait until it is completely dry and pull away the tape! done

If some of the paint has gone over the edges use white paint to touch up.

3. Diamond Canvas

Things you will need:
Canvas
Magazine or coloured paper
Scissors
Pva Glue

To make this super simple diamond canvas out of triangles start by cutting out your triangles using either magazines with cool patterns or as I used patterned colourful paper.
Once you have cut out 14 triangles, start by placing 5 along the top, then 5 along the next row, followed by 3 then 1.
Simply glue them down, wait to dry and there you have it, an awesome unique diamond canvas!

These canvas diplays are so easy and affordable while also being super fun to make while also being able add in your own creative style and ideas. Thanks for reading! New vlog will be up on my youtube channel tomorrow SHAN&DAN VLOGS
