Welcome to our website !

I don't really know where to begin with this post, staying positive.. a lot easier said then done.
We all have the days where we want to hide under our blankets and not face the world and just bury our problems but instead we get up and go on about our lives acting like there was never anything wrong in the first place carrying on our responsibilities we have like the adults we are. Theres nothing wrong with feeling down we can't be happy and positive all the time its just not realistic and if you can then hats off to you because i don't know how you do it! I hit a really low point 2 years ago and felt that i couldn't be happy and was in the completely wrong mindset it was only until i realised it was only me who can change the way i think, a big quote that i live by now is "control your mind or it will control you"
Lets just start with staying positive in negative situations.. Firstly surround yourself with positive people, why put in the effort with someone if they are going to be negative around you that will just bring you down with them so avoid this as much as possible and if you happen to be surrounded by so called negative people block it out you don't need them..
This is a big one for me, beating yourself up mentally, i tend to overthink situations to the point where its just absolutely absurd. I still sometimes do that which is when I try to switch my thoughts and focus on the power of positive thinking. Anytime a negative thought comes into your mind replace it with a positive one trust me it works! It eventually becomes more natural and your brain starts to automatically switch your negative thoughts into positive ones. Just know that the more you talk negatively to yourself the more negativity will become a part of you.
Here are some of my top tips that i have used to stay positive.
1. Staying relaxed - Its not always easy because sometimes we end up in situations that are heated, but what i have learnt is to focus on my breathing taking a deep breath really does help, our thoughts manifest in our mind and body. We tense up in negative situations so take a deep breath relax and let it go.
2. Stay present, no dwelling - Try not to let your mind wander back to the past, stay present in the moment as they say the past is the past and we can't change it so try not to think back to issues that may have arisen and what you could of said or done to change it instead reconnect with the present moment.
3. Be with happy people - Surround yourself with happy, joyful people that can help take your mind off things.
4. Repeat positive affirmations - By repeating a certain positive affirmation to yourself everyday you are training your brain to believe them. Over time you will start to internalise them. Choose 3 relating to values and goals.
5. Don't worry about what other people think - This is a big one! So many people worry about what other people think and what people may have to say, if you want to do something that makes you happy then do it, block out the thoughts, have no care in the world, just do it, life is short rather it be a  "whoops then a what if".

Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become your character.
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.

Happy positive thinking!

These past few months I have been faced with so many changes and challenges, I mean thats life it happens to everyone I guess its just how we handle the situations that we are presented with that shape us into the people we are today.. The transition from school into the full time working world is one of the most dramatic life changes ever, who knew we had it so easy when we were in school, in saying that i finished year 12 in 2014 and have only been working full time for nearly 2 years. I'm assuming that marriage, buying a house and having kids are pretty dramatic to but for now this is the biggest..
What has caught my interest is how people spend their days, the whole 24 hours I mean yes half of it is probably sleeping but who knows i could be wrong!
Want to hear a day in my life? keep reading.. if not then can’t say i blame you.

5:45am - Alarm goes off
That sounds so early doesn’t it, definitely not the time of the morning i want to be waking up try 10am on weekends but right now this is pretty much everyday except Tuesday as i don’t work Tuesdays (i do work a 38 hour week though). Most of the time i roll over turn my alarm off and lay there checking social media for about 10 minutes before i get up and start my day.

6:00am - Time to get ready
I do love the mornings don’t get me wrong its the thoughts we first think when we wake up that can shape our whole day! If you wake up and think yes today will be a great day then i guarantee it most likely will be! Its just the mindset you start with..
I stumble out of bed and make my way to the shower, after about 5-10 minutes i hop out feeling extremely cold then get straight into my work uniform.

6:30am - Breakfast
By now its probably 6:30 i head into the kitchen, boil the kettle, make either a coffee or a caramel latte depending on how I’m feeling and put in two pieces of toast in the toaster. I sit down next to the heater and chat away to mum whilst i eat my breakfast. Once I’m finished i brush my teeth, do my hair and make my bed. Then pack my lunch and work stuff for the day which isn’t much just a few notebooks, cardigan and whatever else.

7:00am - Time to leave
As soon as it hits 7:00am I’m out the door and into my car, bluetooth connected, music playing and ready to take on the 45 minute drive ahead of me, I love listening to mashups whilst I drive as I tend to get over listening to just one song. Its not a bad drive though it goes relatively quick considering i have been doing it for so long now.

7:45am - Arrive at work
Most of the time I get to work at around 7:45 depending on traffic, I get a park right out the front and head in ready to start the day, as you know I work in the child care industry.

8:00am-5:30pm - Work
For the next 9 and a half hours I work. I have my certificate III in early childhood education and will begin studying my diploma at the start of 2017. I work in the nursery room and absolutely love it, I can’t even begin to describe how amazing the staff and my boss are that I work with. All day I’m pretty much on my feet feeding the children, changing them, putting them to sleep and the best part getting to just be there and play with them all day!

5:30pm End of shift
Before i know it its 5:30 and I’m on my way home, most of my day goes so quick its surprising when you think about how quick time actually goes, the dividing line between past, present and future is an illusion. So reality is ultimately timeless. By now I’m a little tired and take extra caution while driving as it is dark. I can’t wait until summer when it will be much lighter on my drive home.

6:15pm Home
I arrive home, chuck down my work bag and lounge around waiting for dinner, i chat to my parents about their day, sit by the heater for a little while and of course check my Blog, Facebook, Instagram the usual i try not to get to caught up in all of this though as its not very important i like focusing and conversating in person rather then over my phone.

7:00pm Dinner
I have dinner, nothing beats a home cooked meal does it, I swear mums always make the best meals maybe its because they have had so much experience doing so. Once dinner is finished I’m straight in the shower out of my work clothes into some trackies and a hoodie then out the door again and off to my partners.

Thats pretty much it, it all seems like a routine doesn’t it I mean I guess it is but its just how you look at it, each and everyday is different, the conversations, the way we feel, our thought pattern, what happens during the day its amazing isn’t it, I mean nothing to exciting to share here but theres a little insight on how I spend my weekdays! I tried to make it as engaging and interesting as possible so i hope you stuck around until the end.

So far i feel my blog has consisted of mostly beauty related posts but don't worry thats not all i have to write about! I have many ideas that i am yet to post that range from a whole heap of categories. I just wanted to share my must have high end makeup products and will also do my favourite drugstore products. It took me a while to branch out and accumulate these items as they are not cheap here in Australia which sucks I swear over in America they are like half the price! My bank account would definitely hate me if i went over there to shop. Also i am thinking about putting up a blog post every 2-3 days that way it will keep you guys interested(hopefully) and will keep my blog alive! Anyway these are some of my highly recommended products keep in mind I've only been using these for 6 months or so, enjoy!

1. Too Faced chocolate bar eyeshadow pallete
Firstly this eyeshadow palette is definitely a necessity in your collection, not only is it in the shape of a chocolate bar but as soon as you open it up the sweet smell of chocolate envelops you! The eye shadows are pigmented with pure, antioxidant-rich cocoa powder and include 16 matte and shimmer shades of natural browns, delicate pinks and deep plums. In terms of colour pay off and quality they are pigmented, bendable and soft. Highly recommended this palette if you are looking for something you are able to use everyday to create a ton of neutral and dramatic looks.

2. Urban Decay Setting Spray
I was never really interested in setting sprays until I heard about this one and considering I have dry skin and have trouble getting my make up to stay on all night when I'm out i thought i should probably give this a go. When applied obviously feels wet as it is a spray although once dry it is undetectable on the skin, no stickiness or that horrible tight feeling! A lot of people tend to last for the long lasting setting spray but I got my hands on the cooling and hydrating one which keeps my face feeling fresh and my makeup still lasting all day and night. The product was developed in an exclusive partnership with SKINDINAVIA and works to keep foundation, eyeshadow, blush and concealer in place throughout the day.

3. GlamGlow Thirsty Mud Hydrating Treatment
This treatment has changed my skin so much! It is a non drying hydration mask that delivers instant extreme moisture. It is great for dry skin and helps to replenish, restore and calm the skin. I have tried so many moisturises and treatments and have never seem to find any that i was actually satisfied with until trying this! It is suitable for all skin types and the best part.. it smells like caramel. It is also formulated without parabens, sulphates and phthalates.

4. Nars Laguna Bronzer
This is my go to bronzer, pretty much the one i wear everyday i toss up with this and hoola bronzer by benefit but generally reach for this. Ive almost hit pan on this which sucks but i will definitely be repurchasing. I feel this bronzer warms my entire face without it looking dirty i hate that with some bronzers but with Nars it adds a beautiful light golden tan and is very easy to blend out. You don't have to worry about putting it on to heavily unless going really crazy with application!

5. Too Faced Candlelight Glow
This highlighter though! I have yet to try Becca Champagne pop which is raved about so much and will be next on my list to purchase but for now i use Too Faced and it has not disappointed if you are looking for an affordable highlighter then this is for you. The sheer dual powders can be combined for a versatile, customised shade that looks gorgeous where ever applied! Considering it is a duo you can even use one at a time to create the perfect glow. It is highly pigmented and the shimmer isn't chunky at all. All up I really love Too Faced products and will always get a 10/10 from me.

"Perfume is the indispensable complement to the personality of women, the finishing touch on a dress." - Christian Dior

I seriously never leave the house without wearing perfume, i have a pretty large range of scents to choose from as i have accumulated so many over the past few years, who can blame me though i mean i think we all want to smell great. We all have that signature scent that we wear, it identifies us and expresses our personality. There are so many perfumes on my wish list that i would love to try but for now here are my top 5 picks so far all in which are inexpensive and smell amazing! I am waiting to try Chanel no. 5 and miss doir.

1.Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium- 50ml ($149)

First on the list Black Opium now this i only wear when going out somewhere special for example out to a nice dinner or to a night club as it gives off a more strong scent it feels more appropriate to wear at night time. I was so incredibly pleased with this purchase and have fallen in love the fragrance it has notes of adrenaline-rich coffee and the sweet sensuality of vanilla and white flowers. It is definitely more of a sophisticated sexy scent, alluring yet not over powering and lasts all night! A quick note on the bottle it's absolutely stunning and all up worth the splurge.

2. Aquolina Pink Sugar - 100ml ($35)

This is my all time favourite perfume and have been wearing it for 5 or so years it would have to be my signature scent it's the one I reach for majority of the time before I leave the house. It's not an overpowering scent yet very girly, the smell of cotton candy and liquorice mixed in nicely with a blend of caramel and vanilla. It settles great and isn't a sickly smell, lasts all day and will continue to repurchase.

3. Black XS Paco Rabanne 100ml ($80)

I received this perfume as a gift at Christmas time a few years ago and absolutely loved it, this perfume is divine! Top notes are neroli and black pepper, middle notes are jasmine, rose and night blooming cereus. It's sweet but at the same time earthy quite like black opium, I would lean towards it more when I'm going out in the night time. I recommend trying it out it will not disappoint and very inexpensive.

4. Signature Beckham 75ml ($49)

I feel this perfume is underrated for what it is! I absolutely love it great for everyday use. I switch between this and pink sugar when leaving the house. It opens with notes of anise and candy apple, the heart encompasses orchid, heliotrope and vanilla, while the base notes contain patchouli, amber and musk it seriously is amazing and 10/10 would recommend the only down fall I would have to say is that it doesn't seem to last to long on the skin.

5. Jennifer Lopez Jluxe 50ml ($49)

This being my last favourite I have only had this fragrance for nearly a year now and ever since first smelling it I knew I had to add it to my collection, it is affordable and long lasting. The scent notes include top notes of citrus bergamia, pineapple, raspberry, middle notes of rose, violet, orris, ylang-ylang and base notes of amber, musk, cedar wood. A great everyday perfume that is sweet yet mature.

25. Summer or Winter
Currently in winter at the moment and I dislike it a lot so summer! Late night swims, camping and endless beach days what more could you want.
A year or so ago i finally branched out and tried high end foundation as i saw so much hype about it compared to drug store foundation in saying that i only ever found one foundation from the drug store that i was impressed with that being the 'L'oreal True Match' and i have tried quite a few. I feel like foundation is my favourite beauty product to purchase as it goes a long way while also making your skin look flawless so it is important to buy the right one and i am willing to spend that little bit extra.
So here are my top 4 favourite high end foundations in no particular order!
1. Estee Lauder Double Wear
This foundation has been my go to ever since i first tried it, i wasn't to eager to try it as i had heard mixed reviews but so far i have loved it as it suits my skin tone great and lasts literally all day! It has a medium coverage but easy to build up to full coverage, if you are looking for a foundation that hides all imperfections and gives that flawless look then i would definitely recommend.
2. Nars Sheer Glow
Nars Sheer Glow is another one of my all time favourites i generally wear this when I'm going out either to a nice dinner or to a club mainly in the night time. It is a medium to full coverage with a satin finish which works great as i have dry skin. I love that it is light weight with a silky texture depending on the application you can build it up to full coverage still feeling light and not cakey which i have found a lot of foundations to feel like! It photographs beautifully as it does not have spf all up i would 100 percent recommend this product and would say it is a must have and worth the splurge!
3. Too Faced Born This Way
An oil-free, fragrance free foundation that contains coconut water, medium coverage and best suited for combination skin tones. I love the packaging for this bottle frosted glass with gold writing and comes with a pump! I find it works best by applying with a beauty blender and a light powder over the top. It is a great foundation that covers all imperfections and great to use on a day to day basis.
4. Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
Last but not least, this foundation is holy grail! Very expensive if you ask me but definitely worth every cent. A little goes a long way with this foundation it is oil free and i find i do not need a powder with it as it already has that silky finish. It lasts all day and no touch ups are necessary. Medium to full coverage definitely buildable! I absolutely love this foundation and would highly recommended 10/10!

Okay here we go lets talk makeup..
So i guess everyone or nearly everyone has some what heard of the Kylie Jenner Lip Kit craze that has been going on lately..
I was pretty skeptical at first on whether or not i should go out and buy one 30 dollars for a lipstick and a lip liner seemed a little expensive to me plus postage.
I eventually jumped on the band wagon and purchased a couple and i must say i was pretty impressed i struggle with liquid lipsticks as they dry out my lips and don't look very attractive but this formula has changed my opinion completely non drying, does not transfer and stays on for a decent amount of time! I was surprised that they were actually decent. This isn't a full review on her lip kits just my opinion in case anyone was looking to buy them i would definitely recommend and rate it a solid 8/10. Once purchasing her lip kits i thought why not try out some of her lip glosses.. I ordered "so cute" i was a little disappointed in the applicator but apart from that it was half decent.
The colours included in my photo are 'koko k, candy k, posie k, so cute and heir' my favourites being 'koko k and candy k' as i generally wear a nude pink to light pink tone, nothing to out there.
For heir i was not a big fan... a golden type lip gloss with a lot of sparkle, didn't suit me what so ever.
I felt like i had to write about these not because of the big craze that has been going on lately but just for my general opinion.
