All these palettes are drugstore and high end. After swatching them I noticed how much I really love the essence palettes I highly recommend getting them if your on a budget they are just as good if not better then the high end products. I thought I would share with you guys my thoughts on 'body image', itsnt it strange how probably 90% of us aren't happy with the way we look or I guarantee all of us have one thing we would love to change. We can all gain/lose weight and change our whole shape but we can't change our eyes, our nose, mouth unless having cosmetic surgery which im guessing not many of us would want to do that. So we pretty much have to work with what we've got and learn to love and accept ourselves for who we are.
I always thought the ideal body image was tall, thin, long hair and I have no idea why well I somewhat do I mean the media plays a big part or maybe because I don't have any of these traits. I could spend a countless amount of time in front of the mirror picking apart the things I don't like but nothing will change that so as I said before we need to love and accept ourselves for who we are.
It has taken me years to accept my body for what it is, only because throughout high school I was one of those people who worried to much about what other people thought of me. I felt like i needed to have that stick thin body, thigh gap, blonde hair, straight teeth to be accepted for who i was. Boy if i could go back then and realise that body image isnt everything! Most people arent even worried about the way we look its just ourselves putting thoughts in our heads, negative thoughts..
I've accepted my body, am I 100 percent happy with it no.. But it's only myself who can make a change and put in the time and effort to get to where I want to be.
In the end who will be there just us and our soul, so we need to love, learn and accept ourselves for the way we are.
Instead of pointing out the things we don't like about our body we should be pointing out what we do like. Positive body image is important as we can then accept, appreciate and respect our bodies.
We have the power to change the way we feel, see and think about our bodies it's all in our minds and thought patterns.

So recently I have started to use the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks I received this set as a gift for my birthday a while ago and was never really a fan of them, after using the Kylie Jennner lipkits I decided to give them ago. The set is called the 'French Kisses Melted' and comes with their best selling melted liquefied lipsticks which includes two of the metal shades. As it states on the Too Faced website is that it has the lasting power of a stain and the intense colour of a liquid lipstick. The shades included from left to right in the photo above are Melted Berry, Melted Metallic Macaroon, Melted Chihuahua and Melted Metallic Peony. I was so happy when I received this set as they are only the mini version of the lipsticks which was great as I always wanted to try them but did not want to splurge and by the full size unless I truly loved it, this way I was able to try out all the shades and can repurchase the bigger size for the ones that I like. The shades are beautiful and definitely long lasting, I do find though that the Melted Berry shade is very opaque compared to the rest of them and I don't generally reach for this colour as I prefer a more nude and light pink for my skin tone. The Metallic Macaroon is very bright and I have only wore this shade once and that was to a Barbie and ken themed 21st birthday party, definitely not an everyday colour that's for sure! I really love the applicator on these products it is super soft and precise so easy for application as it comes out in small amounts. If you want a long lasting, highly pigmented and non drying liquid lipstick then these products are for you!

Today I went into priceline to pick up a new tan, I never have anything bad to say about Bondi Sands its the one I reach for everytime in the shade dark. However I was browsing through the different products and what caught my eye was a new tanning product called btan. The product is in a black bottle with a pretty catchy blurb on the front. I have to give Bondi Sands some serious credit first as their products are amazing. I picked up the btan in dark mousse and the total was $22, once getting home I was eager to try it out straight away. Firstly lets talk about the packaging its in a sleek black bottle with white and gold writing (see photo below) so it did stand out to me. What is does say on the bottle is "smells like summer without the gross fake tan smell" I was a little put off by the smell as I started to apply, it does have a fake tan smell with a hint of vanilla and something else that I can't quite put my finger on. I started applying using a tanning mit I find that's the easiest way to tan. I applied it all over using only one coat as it was extremely dark, I noticed I was a little patchy as well which I was annoyed about. Anyway I left the tan on for 4 hours before I washed it off. Generally I sleep in my bondi sands tan then wash off in the morning how ever considering how dark I was with btan I decided to only leave it on for the 4 hours. After showering the tan evened out really nicely which I was surprised with in the end I really liked the way the tan turned out and I will be giving it another go and probably going to leave it on for longer to see if it will turn out darker. I recommend trying out this product!

YAY WE GOT THE HOUSE!
I am moving out of home this Friday coming and couldn't be more excited to start this new chapter with the love of my life. We couldn't believe how quick this all happened, with a little help from my mum in real estate and we were signing the lease and buying furniture in no time!
I swear on Saturday we pretty much bought out the whole entire kmart and who knew how much you had to buy when first moving out of home but we had a lot of fun filling up our trolley from coffee mugs to a toaster to shelving and lounges.
It will be so exciting to have our own space, and what's awesome is we can see the lake from our balcony! Its a 2 bedroom, has an amazing amount of space for the living and dining and the kitchen is great. We absolutely love cooking and will be whipping up all of our favourite recipes, we have made so many meals and desserts from scratch I feel like we should have our own cook book, anyways that's a little life update and I'll be blogging a whole lot more now and this YouTube channel needs to hurry up and start, I can set up a filming room on one side in the second bedroom while my partner has his music studio set up on the other. So happy with how life is going at the moment and I can't wait to share it with you all!
Long time no post I feel, I have heaps of ideas for my blog now that I have my new camera finally and my Youtube channel will be underway shortly.. But for now I thought I would do a post on the products I use on a daily basis well mainly when I go out or on weekends as I don't wear makeup to work. I will be doing an everyday makeup routine but will have a video to go up with that and show you the steps I use to apply each product. So here are pretty much my favourite products I reach for every time I do my make up. Every time I find a product I love I will continue to repurchase and repurchase until I branch out and try something new. I try to keep it fairly simple and easy but still have that glowing healthy look to the skin.

Base
To start I use my Glam Glo Face Mask, then apply my smash box primer before applying anything else. I find it so hard to find the right foundation as its difficult to find the right shade for my skin tone, I heard so many people rave over the Estee Lauder Double Wear but it took me a while to finally branch away from Nars Sheer Glow Foundation, I love the Sheer Glow as it feel weightless and easy to build up for coverage whilst giving the natural glow. After purchasing the Estee Lauder I feel it gives a more natural look and lasts pretty much all day where as now I wear Nars when Im going out with friends during the night time. To conceal and highlight under the eyes I use Maybelline Fit Me concealer in Medium to conceal and Fair to brighten under the eyes. Then set my whole face using the Australis Pressed Powder sometimes switching to Rimmel Stay Matte in Translucent.

To bring warmth and shape to my face I use Nars Bronzer in Laguna and Candlelight Glow Highlighter from Too Faced I have hit pan on my bronzer and definitely will be repurchasing as I don't find it muddy or hard to blend whilst also not being orange! Im yet to buy the new Hourglass Surreal Light Palette that is being released in October so stay tuned for a review on that!

Eyebrows
To fill in my eyebrows I use the Chi Chi cosmetics brow pomade I am still yet to find the perfect brow product my next purchase will be the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz as I have heard a lot of great reviews on, I used to love using a pencil but have found that using the pomade is a lot easier to fill in and define while keeping them still looking natural.

Eyes
For my eyes I pretty much only wear warm natural tones, I use my Chocolate Bar Palette and Natural Eyes Collection by Too Faced all these shadows are highly pigmented and blend beautifully, it is so easy to create a day and night time look with these palettes. For eyeliner I use the Maybelline Master Precise or elf liquid liner which I find really nice to. I want to try the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner as it is waterproof and lasts all day. For Mascara I use Rimmel Wonderlash I find this mascara brings both volume and length and does not clump! I absolutely love it.

Lips
For my everyday lip I like to wear a nude or light pink, generally I will only ever wear a dark lip when I am going out during the night. At the moment I have been loving the lip pencil and liquid lipstick in Koko K by Kylie Cosmetics I switch between this and Mac Velvet Teddy or Creme Cup.

What are your favourite products that you think I need to add to my collection?
